Offline Tracking

Offline Tracking is Internet-based Passive Vehicle Location (PVL) system developed in collaboration with VECOM in HCMC that allows for online GPS tracking, mapping and reporting on the movement of vehicles, anywhere in Vietnam. Clients purchase their GPS BlackBox from VECOM, and then subscribe to an ASP service from GeoBiz.

Offline Tracking

Using the most updated maps of Vietnam, delivered through a patented Internet technology and using a normal browser, it allows identification of journeys taken by any vehicle on a particular day. Through a GPS embedded device and data stored on a memory card, the information is uploaded into a PC application and when connected to the Internet will provide maps for viewing the track log of the vehicle.

Software

XBX is the software running at the client side which is included in the Offline Tracking. XBX currently supports Windows 2K/XP only. Your PC also needs to install .NET framework (that can be downloaded from this link) in order to make the software running.

XBlackbox Software produces the following reports:

Track playback - animates the route driven so every move can be followed and the speed of the vehicle can be observed.
Idle time – accurate details when the car was stopped or the engine was left running whilst idle.
Track detail – whilst reviewing the driver’s route, stop and transit times, plus speed information is displayed.
Activity – details starts, stops, travel time and mileage.
Group – ability to group vehicles for faster reporting
